At Oakley Transport, our drivers are the backbone of our company and maintaining their happiness is our priority. As a result, we are constantly looking for solutions to better their experiences on the road, at the terminal and with the customer.
Now available, Oakley drivers can weigh their loads right from the comfort of their seat. This can be accomplished through the WeighMyTruck app, to which drivers can register their Comdata card to make payment options quicker and easier.
Typically, a weigh in requires multiple steps before a driver can return to the road. What can sometimes take over an hour, will now only take a mere 5 minutes with the WeighMyTruck app. After 22 CAT scale transactions, drivers can save up to 11 hours on the road and have a positive impact on the HOS clock.
The steps are simple. Line up the truck on the scale, open the app and verify the information. The cashier and weigh master will then take the reins from there, weighing the truck and printing and signing the ticket. The payment and a digital scale ticket will be automatically processed through each driver’s Comdata card.
